Cubot P80 Box Contents
I have no problem with this however I know older purchasers may want a detailed manual and not just the quick guide provided. Cubot does not do this and there is not one online. However, you can look for instructions for how to do what you want to do with your P80 online by researching the operating system, not the phone itself for most things. It's not a deal breaker for me but some UK Customers complain of Cubot sending the American plug and no UK adapter. 
 I will overlook the issue if the phone came from abroad and just get an adapter or plug separately but this is not the common experience. I understand not everyone can tolerate this.

Cubot P80 Accessories Review UK

Screen protector, soft silicone cover and earphones you can plug straight into the Cubot P80 directly via the Type-C port are all present. Type C USB cables always included and an 18W fast charger for the appropriate country should be included if you plan a purchase don't be afraid to remind the seller to make sure they are sending the right plug for your needs.







Cubot P80 Software Review
Some rare users have had trouble with start-up displaying a system error. For most the system error eventually clears by restarting your Cubot P80. Although Cubot seems to have completely fixed the issue, one of the rules I mention in the content below about the best Cubot phone purchase practices mentions OTA resolutions. Cubot's customer service has been excellent with the issue so don't be put off by the reviews about the issue.
The Cubot P80 operates using Android 13 with no bloatware. Currently, Android 13 is the most up-to-date OS you can expect from most Androids, so a major plus. Depending on a System update from Cubot for a whole Operating System update is not a favourite strategy.

CPU Confusion
To clarify some memory misunderstandings. Out of the box, Cubot's P80 has an 8GB ram. Cubot P80's expandable ram is 8GB so you can expand the ram to a total of 16GB.

Internal memory is a whopping 256GB which can be expanded by a further TB (Tera Byte) with an SD card. Even with minimal bloatware Android 13 is notoriously bulky. The system uses  25GB on the P80 which may be displayed as more due to file categorisation settings. For some context, Cubot phones operating on Android 11 only used 11GB for the system.

Cubot P80 Performance
The performance lives up to the specs as you would expect of 8GB the P80 is a wonderful multitasker although it's a budget phone. Everything runs smoothly with no lag so most regular users will never need anything more powerful. As a budget phone, you will be hard-pressed to find an Android more effective at carrying out tasks. You also have the option of enhancing ram with external memory.
Besides the CPU the P80's screen displays aesthetics so well it enhances the experience of playing games.

Cubot P80 Display Review
Cubot's P80 display is vivid and displays colours in a vivid easily distinguishable manner. Also, it displays well under intensive light so you can see the contents of your screen on a sunny summer or gloomy winter. A very responsive Full HD 1080*2408 resolution 6.583 screen at the price is an incredible value. I think the Cubot P80 may have the best budget screen this year. 




Cubot P80 Design Review
Cubot went with a stereo speaker system which was very surprising to me. Stereo just means that both speakers vents at the bottom are actual speakers instead of one being purely decorative. I think the quality is very clear but you may want more base so it depends on preferences. I prefer a dedicated 3.5mm headphone port the P80 only has a Type C port. The quality of the material makes the P80 feel classy and resilient. There are three colours Midnight Black, Mystic Violent and Ocean Blue as an example. For the ocean blue the rear cover and side bare are slightly different tones which makes the P80 seem elegant. Like a wine taster (sommelier), it's the subtle difference that exudes class. The fingerprint scanner is located to the side it is quick and responsive. Being a dual sim phone you can use two sim cards at once or a sim card and an SD card to enhance memory. P80 is a hybrid sim design to me that's a red flag I want a dual sim plus a dedicated SD card slot. The P50 has a dedicated SIM port.


Notable P80 Mentions
NFC offers you Google Pay a service available in the UK, the equivalent of Apple Pay for Android.
The GPS is accurate within meters. Due to Bluetooth 4.2 screen sharing and device pairing is smooth and easy. The only way to charge your P80 and listen to headphones is via a wireless option because of the shared headphone and charging port. Wifi connectivity is smooth.
You can get in a very reasonable 12 hours screen on time on a busy day Although charging is quick the phone can get a little warm. 
Great camera that delivers quality pictures in all lighting night or day.
