Oukitel K9 Headphone Jack
Like so many before the Oukitel K9 lacks the standard 3.5mm port so headphones and headsets that would typically be compatible with headphones and headset enabled devices are not optionary for the Oukitel K9 Phone.
The reason many phones have no 3.5mm port is because of what they have completely replaced it with, and that replacement is a Type-C USB port. The TYpe-C USB port has two options for wired headphones.
Three Things You Can do
Number One: A Type-C to 3.5mm adapter so you can re-enable 3.5mm audio options.
Personally I'd rate this as the best option because I believe electronics should be adaptive and being able to use The K9 with all other 3.5mm devices is incredibly convenient.

Number 2: Actual headphones for the Oukitel K9, by that I mean Type-C headphones that can be directly plugged into the Oukitel K9's Type-C USB port

Number 3: Oukitel K9 Phones have Bluetooth 4.0 version which is basically the bare minimum as far as Bluetooth options it's not as fast or energy efficient as more advanced versions of Bluetooth but it's Bluetooth none the less and has benefits for headphone options.
Bluetooth headphones are wireless obviously which can be a major asset you never have to worry about a sharp movement snapping the wire, I have actually done that, the biggest benefit for me is you can have your phone further away from you while using your headphones to have a conversation or listen to music, charging a phone without having to be bound to the socket while listening to music is a huge plus when in my book.
I referred to Bluetooth 4.0 as the bare minimum which brings us to the cons of wireless Oukitel K9 headphones, energy consumption on both ends the Oukitel K9 has a 6000Mah battery so that definitely lessens the blow compared to lower energy Androids but you also have to watch the Bluetooth end as well as Bluetooth headphones need energy as well so if both you K9 and its headphones need charging at the same time the benefit I mentioned earlier of not being socket bound is negated.

Cubot Max 5 OTG
You need to use OTG with the Max 5 and I'll tell you why. Cubot's Max 5 is an OTG phone which is not surprising given Cubot's track record and the specific selling point of the Max 5. OTG Can be used to enhance the 256GB internal memory with a flash drive, this specifically is important because you cannot increase the internal memory with an SD card. OTG works with Android and even console controllers so if you plan to use the Max 5 because of its selling point this may be a must-use feature.
