The absolute minimum version of Bluetooth the average Chinese android phone is enabled with is version 4.0 the Homtom S12 breaks the mold by incorporating an even older version of Bluetooth, Bluetooth version 2.0. Incorporated into the S12 is the MTK 6580 CPU with a clock speed of 1.3GHZ, this is not the most powerful CPU which is to be expected however in regular use the HOMTOM S12 runs smoothly without slowing down or glitching. If you want to play demanding 3D games on the highest graphics settings than you may want a different phone.

 Dual Sim phones have the disadvantage of consuming more energy than single sim phones, to fully take advantage of dual sim phones like the HOMTOM S12 you need 4G enabled, the S12 is only enabled to use 2G and 3G.

Don’t let the 5.0MP  Front Camera specs fool you it is actually  quite good giving you a great facetime option.
Front camera is really useful for video calls so apps like skype really come in handy, 4G video calling services would also be handy but no 4G to video call with. On the other side the rear camera does not focus well for video or pictures. 

Screen is bright and responsive, only complaint is the viewing angles.

Modern Android phones generally have slim builds with built in batteries that are not removeable without at least some effort and by that I mean with specialist tools and time.
