Cubots very first Android 9.0 Pie phone was initially announced to be released in January by Cubot however that date has been slightly pushed back. Firstly to clear up the operating system confusion the X19 is not the first Cubot with Android 9.0 out of the box it is the first Cubot to receive an update to Android 9.0 within three months according to Cubot, and comes with Android 8.1 preinstalled. 

Fortunately, cubot have not pushed the Cubot X19 release date back too far and have confirmed it will be released on February the 18th 2019 at certain outlets.
