BLuboo D6 Pros And Cons with good insight into the value that the D6 offers as well as the inevitable cost of such a low priced android.

Introduction
Bluboo D6 specs are shrouded in technical terms if you would actually like to know what the specs mean at the bottom of this page there is a link that offers you a far better understanding than say MTK6580A Quad-Core CPU. Before that here are some of the pros and cons as well as a compelling case you should not look at the Bluboo D6 as a long-term phone.

Bluboo D6 Android 8.1 Oreo
I think it goes without saying that Android 8.1 is a Pro but I will say something anyway. Low Priced android often have older versions of Android installed and are not updated. Android 8.1 is far more bluetooth freindly than previous Android version displaying the energy levels of connected Bluetooth devices.

Bluboo D6 Dual Sim And CPU
Dual Sim phones have the advantage of being able to hold two sim cards at once able to make and receive phone calls from either. A disadvantage dual sim phones have including the Bluboo D6 is they use more energy than single sim phones. 2G and 3G sim cards are compatible with the Bluboo D6 4G sims are not.
One of the limits of low priced Androids is low priced parts and the particular phone part responsible for sim compatibility is the CPU the advantage is, of course, you get a low priced android phone.

CPU is also responsible for Ram Space, internal memory and SD card Capacity. Internal memory is 16GB Ram Space is 2GB and SD card maximum accepted capacity is 32GB. Many, not all android offer the Dual sim with the setback of having one of those slots function as an SD card slot so you either have two sims or one sim and one SD card. the Bluboo S6 does not share this fault it can have one Nano sim one Micro sim and one SD/TF card in at once which is especially vital given the limited internal memory.

Bluboo Have another Android that uses the same MTK6580A Quad-Core 1.3GHz CPU as the D6 called the Bluboo Maya, you're more than welcome to see them compared at this link.
Bluboo Maya And Bluboo D6 Comparison

Common Android Phone Memory Increase Options

OTG phones have the advantage of being compatible with USB device like Android and USB console controllers, the Bluboo D6 is not optimal for gaming because of the limited power the of the MTK6580A Quad-Core 1.3GHz CPU. Low memory Android phones have the advantage of being able to increase storage externally through USB flash drives if they are OTG enabled.

Cloud storage services like cloud and google drive offer storage that is accessible anywhere you have an internet connection with the con being you need an internet connection and 3G has a more limited data transfer rate than 4G you will not be able to store as much and access as much information as quickly through the Bluboo D6.

Removeable Batteries
Considering the Bluboo D6 is not waterproof and does not have protective Gorilla glass, having an easy to replace battery is a huge plus. Easy to remove batteries give you the option of carrying a spare charged battery and being able to switch easily if the power runs out it also makes it easy if the battery needs replacing because of damage. A lot of phone batteries today are built in which is fine if the battery is working.

Display
Resolution is 960 x 480 pixels and the screen is 5.5 inches. Standard Androids from China usually have five-point touch screens which means they can be touched at five points at once and are more responsive than lower point screens. The Bluboo D6 Screen is two point another instance in which the Bluboo D6 shows its budget.

This glass is not protected against scratches and impact by Corning Gorilla Glass a screen protector provides the advantage of protection from scratches. impact and helps to keep the screen free from fingerprints.

Bluboo D6 Sensors
Low priced Androids generally sacrifice sensors in order to keep cost low. The Bluboo D6 Sensors are Gravity sensor Accelerator and Fingerprint sensor. Even on higher price phones sensors do not always work well if at all, however, the technology is getting better so until we put out a review with performance facts let's just consider the fact a phone as uncostly as the Bluboo D6 has a fingerprint scanner a major pro. An earlier Bluboo phone operating with the same CPU the Bluboo Maya only sensor is a gravity sensor.

Conclusion Good Spare Or Short-term Android
I see the Bluboo D6 as a short-term or spare phone for three main reasons
One: Memory
It lacks space and memory optimization options how will you use a phone in the long term with such limited space.

Two: Limited Components
Certain components the D6 lacks have potential and will become prevalent in the future example Gyroscope sensor gives the phone the ability to turn the screen on virtual reality compatible media another example of lacking longer-term components would be Type-C USB, Type-C offer faster data transfer and more and more accessories are being designed to accompany the Type C technology. You want a long-term phone to be compatible with emerging technology.

Three: No Updates
Higher priced Androids usually have the advantage of OTA (Over The Air) updates the Bluboo Maya did not and the Bluboo have given no assurance they will provide OTA updates for their D6 model.
